The secluded cottage sleeps six and has an open plan oak beamed lounge/kitchen/dining area with a traditional large fire place, wood burning stove, tiled flooring and central heating. The interior is tradition French farmhouse with white walls and honey coloured woodwork.. The kitchen is fully equipped with a fridge, washing machine, oven and microwave.In the lounge there is satellite TV, a video, DVD, CD player with videos, DVD’s,books and toys.
The comfortable downstairs twin bedroom has an en suite WC shower room.
Upstairs there is a spacious twin bedded room, a double bedroom and a separate bathroom. The larger bedroom features the original, beautiful wooden beams and two windows with open views of the surrounding countryside. The other south facing bedroom has views of the orchard.
A cot, bedding, sheet and towels are provided on request.

It is set in an orchard of fruit trees on a quiet country lane within 5 minutes of 3 outdoor swimming pools with life guard.On the south side of the house there is a walled patio, BBQ, table and chairs. It is perfect for peaceful relaxed meals in the warm sunshine, or under clear, starry Normandy skies. |

Brecey is on the intersection of the D991 and D999 between Avracnhes and Villedieu. La Tullerie is off the D911 which is off the D999. It is easily reached by plane to St Malo, Dinard airport, an hour away and by ferry to the following ports: St Malo and Caen/Ouistreham 1 hour drive; Le Havre 1.25 hours drive; Cherbourg 1.5 hours drive; and Calais/Eurotunnel 5 hours drive approx.

The house is off a very quiet country lane, in countryside planted with apple trees. There are lovely walks in the nearby beech woods. In the other direction towards Brecey, 10 minutes walk or 3 minutes drive, there are open air swimming pools with a life guard, tennis courts and fishing lakes.
The small, pretty town of Brecey, is 5 minutes by car or an easy, pleasant walk. It has several small shops, bakers, restaurant, hairdressers, supermarket, banks and garage. Beautiful, sandy, long Normandy beaches are within 40 minutes drive. Mont St Michel is also 40 minutes drive. |
