| Facilities: |
Quite simply, our aim is to provide luxury accommodation for all of our guests – each of our properties was fully refurbished in 2004 and redecorated in 2005. A “home from home” feel is achieved through a high standard of furnishings and a comprehensive list of equipment. This includes just about everything you will find in your own kitchen through to high quality hardwood garden furniture and garden games equipment. Video and DVD players along with a selection of films, music CDs and paperback books are available for you to use. We also have mountain bikes (for use without charge) which can be used to explore the beautiful countryside surrounding Kergudon. A series of cycle routes have been mapped out for your enjoyment – these are part of an extensive information pack available to guide you to the local walks, beaches and attractions in our area. We have two kayaks (1 adult and 1 child per kayak) that can be used on our nearby lake and two family horses that can be ridden with prior arrangement. One of our barns has been converted into a games room facility with pool table, air hockey and table football.
For a full list of facilities by individual cottage, click on the relevant property button. We know we haven’t thought of everything but we have certainly tried!
For those of you with children, our two largest properties each have a splash pool which is available for cooling off in the summer months. A short distance away is Lake Drennec, a popular bathing spot with locals due to the two sandy beaches and safe bathing on offer. A heated swimming pool is also open in the summer months at Sizun, just 5 miles away and a state of the art indoor and outdoor swimming complex with flume is at Landerneau, a 20 minute drive. A amusement park with pool and animal park with wolves are situated nearby.

Kergudon is located in the hamlet of St Cadou, deep in the heart of Brittany’s Armorique National Park. Kergudon is surrounded by forests and the stunning countryside of the Monts d’Arree and is loved by all that visit. Fresh air and traffic less roads provide for a relaxing time.
Quiet and unhurried, St Cadou is not for those seeking bars and restaurants on their doorstep. We do however have a pub that does meals, just a two minute walk from the gites. All other services are just an eight minute drive away in Sizun where you will find restaurants, bars, shops, banks, a pharmacy, tourist information centre and open air swimming pool (summer only). St Cadou is at the centre of an extensive footpath network with routes through forests and out onto the Monts d’Arree hills. We can provide you with routes from short walks through to day long hikes. Less than a mile from Kergudon and reachable either by road or woodland path is Lake Drennec, ideal for summer bathing and all year boating and walking. A five mile walk circles the lake and there is a creperie restaurant half way round from where you can enjoy a meal or a drink. Our two kayaks are available for launching on the lake, each takes an adult and small child.
St Cadou is very well placed to explore all of the delights of Western Brittany. There are endless choices of beaches and attractions as well as activities such as horse riding, sailing and windsurfing. We have assembled a detailed information pack to guide you to walks, beaches, attractions, cycle routes and restaurants in the area.
