Modern Art Museum, Villeneuve d'Ascq. (1)
Situated in a vast park with sculptures, the museum was designed by the architect Roland Simounet to house the donation Geneviève and Jean Masurel. The collection covers most of the great names and most of the trends of influence in France at the beginning of the 20 th century : Léger, Modigliani, the cubists Braque, Picasso, Laurens, the fauves Derain and Rouault, the surrealists Masso and Miro, also the Ecole de Montparnasse, the Ecole de Paris and Art Naïf as well as work by artists from the north of France. It also presents the works of contemporary artists among them Deacon, Soulages, Leroy, Erro...
Open every day except Tuesday and some bank holidays from 10.00am to 6.00pm.

Fine Arts Museum, Tourcoing. (2)
Situated in a typical of 1930s architecture, the museum presents collections extending from the 16 th century up to today. The museum proposes to create dialogues between traditional and contemporary art, the lively arts and the plastic arts. Boilly, Rembrandt, Bouillon, Fautrier, Semerano, Barré, Steir, Lewitt can be seen.
Open every day except Tuesday and some bank holidays from 1.30pm to 6.00pm.

Museum of Art and Industrie, Roubaix. (3)
Old « art deco » swimming-pool built between 1927 and 1932 by Albert Baert, it was converted by Jean Paul Philippon. This one made the most of the location : the central pool presents sculptures, the applied arts were installed in the former shower cabins, the Fine Arts collection is situated in the wings that contained the old bath tubs, the former refreshment room was changed into a restaurant...
Open from Tuesday to Thursday from 11.00am to 6.00pm, Friday from 11.00am to 8.00pm, Saturday and Sunday from 1.00pm to 6.00pm.
Closed on Monday and bank holidays.

The Septentrion Fondation. (4)
The Vert Bois domain stretches over 30 hectares. The Foundation maintains a cultural current through its temporary shows and the permanent exhibition of its works of art.
The Castle, built in the 18 th century, is open in July and August. It presents decorative arts and an outstanding quality furniture.Donot miss the village of craftsmen.
the Fondation is open from Wednesday to Sunday from 2.00pm to 6.00pm.

The distillery, Wambrechies. (5)
At the beginning water mill, this building became distillery in 1817. Classified historic building since 1999, the distillery manufactures according to an old method a grain alcohol (rye and barley malted). During The visit, you can discover the various stages of the manufacture of juniper: from flour-milling to distillation, passing by cooking.
Guided visits from Tuesday to Thursday at 11.00am and at 3.00pm, Saturday at 3.00pm and Sunday at 3.00pm and at 4.30pm.

The chicory House, Orchies. (6)
At the home of the makers of the famous chicory Leroux, you can see a unique collection of European ceramics dating from the 16th to the 19th century. At present there are more than 120 pieces. In a modern building there are temporary exhibitions concerned with chicory such as posters, packaging and publicity items.
Open from tuesday to Friday from 10.00am to 12.00am and from 2.00pm to 5.30pm, Saturday and Sunday from 2.30pm to 6.30pm.
